My Entire 4-Step Business Plan

Do You Think This Is CRAZY?

Earlier this week, I made an offer to get access to my brand new Quiz Funnel training for $100 bucks.

After I made the offer, a friend texted me and said:

“Dude! You’re practically GIVING this away. What’s your end game here??”

So I’ll tell you what I told him.

Here is my entire 4-Step Business Plan….

(You tell me if you think this is crazy.)

First, I’ve decided to make a BIG move, going public in a BIG way, and leading with:

Strategy #1: Radical Transparency.

Like showing my actual webinar stats and 31% sales conversion rate on this most recent offer….

Sharing both the earnings (the wins) and learnings (the losses)…

This way, even if the thing we’re selling at the moment isn’t quite right for you…

My hypothesis is that you’ll learn from what we’re doing (and how I’m doing it) and stick around for the ride.

This brings me to…

Strategy #2: Zig when they Zag.

I came into this whole digital marketing thing a bit of a nerd.

But I studied the “masters” of direct response marketing.

And then adopted the so-called “best practices”…

The flavor of which can be admittedly a bit, “gamey” at times.

(You know what I mean…)

But as they say: Learn the rules so you know how to break them.

And that’s where I am in this season of life:

I’m following my heart, speaking my mind, and taking what many would consider to be a somewhat contrarian approach…

For example, In my most recent webinar for this $100 training offer, I broke all the “Perfect Webinar” rules:

“Never tell people the price until you establish the value.”

Okay, well how about this?

First words out of my mouth:

“I’ve got something I’m selling and it’s going to cost $100 bucks. I’ll tell you what it is later. If this offends you and you want to leave, and you don’t want to know about it, you can hit the eject button at any time.”

(Nobody left, btw)

Or how about this one:

There are only two roles of the CEO:

Delegate and Predict.

Welp……

Forgive me Father for I have sinned:

Because I’ve spent MORE time in the last 3 weeks personally responding to comments (myself) on FB, Instagram, and LI than I have in the last 3 years…

Giving people links to replays… studies I’ve been reading… useful resources.

“But Ryan, it doesn’t scale?!”

You know what?

That’s exactly the point.

Because this approach has opened a dozen opportunities that I NEVER would’ve seen or had the insight to pursue, had I not been willing to take out the garden tools, get my hands in the dirt, and do some of this manual work myself…

Which brings me to…

Strategy #3: Long-Game Thinking

Yes, make offers.
Yes, have something for people to buy.

But.

(And this is a big one.)

My thinking has evolved in a big way on this topic.

I now firmly believe this:

In marketing and sales, there is no such thing as No.

Only “Not This” and “Now Now”.

(See the difference?)

Like, with my most recent webinar, my philosophy was very simple:

* I’m going to teach you some stuff.
* I’m going to sell you some stuff.
* You will either like me or not like me. (Either way is cool.)
* I hope you buy what I have to sell (if it makes sense).
* But I hope even MORE that you come back next time.
* Because next time I will have something else…

No hard sell.

No over-the-top urgency.

It’s either for you, or it’s not. And either way is cool.

More steak, less sizzle.

Communicated with humility… intelligence… (a bit of humor…)

And most importantly…

Real. Freaking. Personality.

Like with this email here today:

Be honest:

Can you feel the difference between THIS email here…

And the sea of regurgitated AI pablum we’re all drowning in right now?

Can you feel that this was written by a real human being with a beating heart?

Can you FEEL it???

Exactly.

Your audience wants to feel YOUR beating heart too.

And that takes me to…

Strategy #4: Bringing it altogether...

Back to my friend’s text message, and making my brand NEW Quiz Funnel training available for $100 bucks.

Why am I doing this? What’s my big business move?

Well, here is my 4-Part Hypothesis:

IF I make some of my best Quiz Funnel training available for you at a ridiculously price AND you feel like you get good value from it, you will want to do at least 1 of 4 things:

1: Become a software user when we launch NEW Bucket later this year….
2: Become a affiliate / channel partner for our new training/software…
3: A small fraction will want to work closely together / hire our team…
4: At a minimum, you’ll have a great experience, and share a positive, public review.

That’s it.

My entire 4-step business plan.

Pretty simple, right?

My question to you is this:

Do you think it’s crazy??

SHOOT ME AN EMAIL to let me know…

Until next week,

Ryan :-)
