So I was having a conversation this week with Jen Kem exploring together an exciting project we’ve been discussing related to her Personal Brand Archetype Assessment…
And the conversation sparked this idea that I thought was fascinating:
Your Unique Personal Brand = Your Unique URL/IRL Combo.
What does that mean exactly?
Let me explain:

First, “URL” (as in your “website”) refers to the time we spend digitally, our life lived online in front of a screen.
Second, “IRL” (as in “in real life”) refers to the time we spend organically, interacting with the real physical world.
And we ALL have a unique (sometimes unexpected) combination of how we spend our time…
I’ll give you an example:
So for me, this image here is a good representation of my week this past week spent URL:
A few highlights include:
* Hosted 2x back-to-back live Quiz Funnel workshops (hundreds of attendees, brand new training, 70+ NPS Score, very positive feedback…)
* Hosted an intimate Quiz Funnel AMA for about ~30 inner circle software clients on Friday (LOTS of interest to do this again…)
* Held 3x private Quiz Funnel client kick-off calls for some VERY exciting new projects (Pickleball Rating System… International Career Assessment… and a B2B project with Higher Ed Tech involving Vanderbilt, Emory, & Villanova Universities…)
That’s all URL stuff.
But IRL?
(You ready for it???)
This here is a depiction of an IRL slice of life…
A few highlights include:
* Processed our first 40 pasture-raised chickens on-farm with my wife and our two boys…
* Beginning the early summer harvest of potatoes, cukes, tomatoes, shallots, garlic, peppers, beans, and more…
* Preparing for weekend extended family gathering, 100% of the food (except the salt used to season) coming directly off our farm…

.
Now you might be thinking, that’s a pretty “weird” combination:
* URL: Quiz Funnels. Software. Neuroscience. Psychology.
* IRL: Permaculture. Regenerative Farming. Homesteading.
What’s the deal??
But this combination…
The intellectual stimulation and challenge of building software and intrinsically interesting work around the applied human psychology behind assessments and quizzes…
Coupled with…
A personal passion (and deeply held set of beliefs) deeply rooted in food sovereignty… climate resiliency… and time spent with family in communion with nature creating something special and unique together…
For me?
This the perfect [*chef’s kiss*] combination…
And when I’m able to strike the right balance on any given week…
In this season of my life…
This is the absolute perfect URL / IRL combo… for me.
But that’s not the point of this email…
Instead, the point of this email is that YOU have a similarly “weird” URL / IRL combination…
It’s what makes you…. you.
And whether you consider yourself a founder… marketer… entrepreneur…. business owner (or something else altogether)
Whether you represent a product-based brand or a personal brand…
You have the unique opportunity to build an audience…
And tell the story of your company and what you’re building through the unique lens…
Of your own “weird” personal URL / IRL combo…
And stand out in an increasingly crowded market…

So as you ponder that thought for a moment…
The question I’ll leave you with it today is this:
